Position Title: Technical & Sales Marketer

Location: Nairobi
Job Summary: Our client is a leading steel fabrication firm that specializes in the design, fabrication, and erection of structural steel works in Eastern and Central Africa.
They are looking to recruit a reliable and a qualified candidate to fill in the Technical & Sales Marketer position.
Roles and responsibilities
- Research for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Contributing to marketing strategies by researching market trends and associated technologies
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
- Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Coordinating sales projects
- Answering client queries and providing technical product support
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
- 4-5 years of experience in the field of sales and marketing
- Prior experience in manufacturing and construction fields.
- Additional degree in sales and marketing is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skill.
- Able to work well in a team
