Position Title: Sales & Marketing Manager - Property Boutique

Our client, Property Boutique, a leading full service real estate company in the region having a team with extensive and deep experience in real estate consultancy is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, team player to fill the position of Real Estate Sales and Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will lead a team that will manage exits of all the projects undertaken by the company.

We are looking for an experienced professional with good interpersonal skills, highly organized and can drive property sales. To succeed in this role, you ought to be passionate, and have deep understanding of commercial, residential and industrial real estate and sales, be attentive to detail, and be a creative, sales-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Reporting to the Associate Property Director, the Property Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for property sales, marketing and administrative work.

Sales & Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales team and support colleagues to maximize on all sales opportunities
  • Proactively create new markets and achieve the set sales targets and business KPIs by marketing and sale of properties and other solutions through data mining for sales leads, advertising and providing property information to the targeted customers.
  • Hold sales and marketing activities and listing services to potential buyers by developing content for sales presentations, the weekly property E-shots and monthly property listing     
  • Client relations – follow up on customer enquiries, requests or complaints and keep customers informed of progress
  • Development and implementation of the business growth plan, including developing, formulating and implementing key sales strategies
  • Providing insight into key strategic areas that will ensure the business attains a competitive advantage in the market, and remains on track on its agenda for growth and performance
  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team
  • Closing sales and leases on properties
  • Schedule and conduct weekly sales meetings with the sales team
  • Approve all contracts and related forms signed by sales teams
  • Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationship
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the various sales strategies and coming up with the changes as may be needed.
  • Overseeing all communication, PR and promotional activities selected to support our business. This includes design, production, and distribution of print materials such as brochures, ads and direct response plus radio and television spots needed for broadcast campaigns.
  • Seek to minimize marketing expenses, develop annual forecasts.
  • Training and overseeing the support staff
  • Coordinating marketing and creative staff.
  • Be part of concept development in relation to the market and sales trends, consumer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits in the real estate industry.
  • Assist conducting research and feasibility studies using comparable properties in the market.
  • Actively seeking out new clients, monitoring sales and following through for target achievement.
  • Evaluation of potential sales offers.
  • Following through on the sales documentations for clients.
  • Acquiring and maintaining relationships with third party agents.
  • Promote marketing and sale of properties and other solutions provided from the company through data mining for sales leads, advertising and providing property information to the targeted customers.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for the Sales & Marketing Manager Job

  • At least 5 years’ experience in property sales and marketing or property management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Sales & Marketing or a related field is required.
  • Registration by Estate Agents Registration Board (EARB) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytic skills, including ability to independently conduct real estate market research and budgets.
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly, verbally and in writing.
  • Strong computer skills, including high level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage productive relationships with team members, public officials, funders and lenders, other staff, and the community
  • Creativity, entrepreneurial, and a self-driven attitude towards work, with a sense of humour.
  • Proven ability to close sale deals and achieve targets
  • Good networking skills
  • Must display a high degree of emotional maturity
  • Should be goal oriented and have a proven track of leadership
