Position Title: Laboratory Technologist
Oasis Healthcare Group Limited is Kenya’s first and largest countrywide fully integrated private healthcare system, registered in October 2015 and born out of the Oasis Group Practice model of health services provision to harmonize the various companies & facilities existing across the country under the Oasis umbrella. We currently have facilities in the following counties: Kisii, Nyamira, Migori, Homa Bay, Siaya, Uasin-Gishu, Kitui, Nairobi, Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, and Kajiado.

Job Summary
The Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests, conducting analyses, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results while maintaining compliance with quality control and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures using various laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Conduct analyses on specimens, interpret results, and accurately document findings.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain quality control measures and ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained, and any relevant information in compliance with laboratory protocols.
- Prepare reports and documentation for test results and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, healthcare professionals, and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of laboratory services.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science,
- Current practicing license from KMLTTB
- At least 2 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, conducting laboratory tests and analyses.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
