Position Title: Dentist 

Oasis Healthcare Group Limited is Kenya’s first and largest countrywide fully integrated private healthcare system, registered in October 2015 and born out of the Oasis Group Practice model of health services provision to harmonize the various companies & facilities existing across the country under the Oasis umbrella. We currently have facilities in the following counties: Kisii, Nyamira, Migori, Homa Bay, Siaya, Uasin-Gishu, Kitui, Nairobi, Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, and Kajiado.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, diagnosis, and treatment to patients while upholding high standards of professionalism, patient care, and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  2. Provide a range of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, prosthetic fittings, and preventive care.
  3. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to maintain optimal oral health.
  4. Address patient concerns, explain treatment plans, and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout dental procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and procedure notes in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dental specialists, physicians, and nurses, for comprehensive patient care and treatment coordination.
  7. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and consultations to ensure integrated healthcare delivery.
  8. Stay updated with advancements in dentistry, techniques, and technologies through continuous education and professional development.
  9. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the dental department, implementing best practices and protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized institution.
  2. Registered and licensed to practice as a dentist in Kenya with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
  3. Proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures and treatments.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and empathy in patient care.
