Our client, The Monarch Insurance Company is an insurance company that consistently provides innovative, unique and affordable products and services that exceeds customers’ expectations.

They are seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill in the following position based at the Head Office, Nairobi.

Executive PA & Office Administrator

Reporting to the CEO & Principal Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the management of the Executive’s schedule, arranging meetings, performing clerical tasks and providing all administrative support to the CEO so as to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating arrangements for board meetings
  • Coordinating and facilitating the CEO’s calendar to schedule meetings and appointments
  • Making travel arrangements and maintaining travel records
  • Screening incoming reports and correspondences while making a preliminary assessment
  • Maintaining the diary and appointments for the CEO
  • Receiving and screening visitors and incoming calls
  • Making calls to the company’s stakeholders of behalf of the CEO
  • Processing the CEO’s correspondences
  • Overseeing the daily operations and performance of the subordinates
  • Maintaining cleanliness and neatness in the CEO’s office

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of the Insurance industry and company products
  • Sound analytical and relevant basic computer skills
  • Excellent knowledge of office administration in an executive office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Good time management skills
