Production Assistant Coordinator Job Vacancy in Kenya

A leading agribusiness company in Kenya is seeking to fill the position of a Production Assistant Coordinator.

Overview: Reporting to the Production Coordinator, the Production Assistant Coordinator will be assisting the Production Coordinator in planning, monitoring, and executing records management activities either for production or maintenance, assigning equipment, material and appointing labor to the production department and other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist the Production Coordinator with administrative tasks like production schedules and timesheets.

2. Assist in improving equipment reliability by identifying failure modes and sustainment of that process
and operational consistency to reduce cost and raise performance.

3. Proactively seeks out potential failures with all equipment, creates Corrective Maintenance Work
Orders to schedule work.

4. Support from other Management Team through establishment and tracking of plans to meet production and quality goals; revise plans as necessary to meet surge conditions and other production challenges.

5. Assist in daily review of production and quality data; identifying trends and problem areas; develop and execute corrective actions as necessary to keep production and quality performance on track.

6. Assist the Production Coordinator with planning and scheduling, inventory control and maintenance
purchasing for all repairs, products, work schedules and meetings.

7. Assist in organizing, establishing and assigning work schedules for department staff to ensure efficient and effective department operation; load balance staffing to ensure smooth operations and avoid production bottlenecks and backlog.

8. Supervise, the staff operations and working procedures to guarantee the safety of all the staff and achieve zero accidents.

9. Assist with planning and scheduling, inventory control and maintenance purchasing for all repairs, products, work schedules and meetings.
