Position Title: Revenue Assurance Officer
Department & Location: Finance & Admin
Reporting to: Finance Manager AR/AP
Job Purpose / Summary: To ensure revenue is accurately captured, collected and reported.
Key Roles:
- Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments within the relevant credit terms.
- Ensure excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Timely posting and reconciliation of WHT Certificates
- Weekly reconciliation of Collections from customers.
- Manage Debtors ageing balances and reconcile long outstanding balances.
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
- Ensure that customer refunds are processed on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring daily receipts reconciliation
- Posting cashbook batches in ERP and preparing receipts journals.
- Implement and maintain internal policies and procedures for the Revenue Assurance functions.
- Ensure all the transactions adhere to internal policies, GAAPs and IFRS and Tax regulations in the various tax jurisdictions.
- Act as point of contact for internal and external audits and ensure information is promptly provided, respond to questions and working with auditors to resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Timely production of collection and allocation reports.
- Compute commission workings and send out statements by WKD1
- Fully reconciled aged debtors report by working day 2 of the following month.
- Reconcile revenue ledger and VAT ledger.
