Organic Beverage Sales Representatives Job Vacancies in Kenya

Our client is an organic beverage manufacturer seeking to hire experienced Sales Representatives to handle promotions and drive sales in Nairobi, Coast, Rift Valley, Western and Nyanza regions.

The ideal candidate is a smart and outgoing person with experience in FMCG sales, promotions, and merchandising.

The candidate should be able to achieve the planned sales revenue, market coverage, and merchandising objectives through regular visits to all potential sales outlets whilst maintaining the highest standards of performance

Responsibilities

  • Development of strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers and negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
  • Listing the company’s products with supermarkets and wholesalers
  • Collect orders from the various distributors and wholesalers, and coordinate delivery
  • Giving sales presentations to arrange for prospective clients
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs,
  • Ensure optimal availability of products over a long and short term
  • Working closely with the Finance department, ensure invoicing, cash/debt collection, cheques, and bank deposit slips collection, as per agreed terms with customers,
  • Establish new accounts by organizing and planning daily work schedules to build on existing or potential sales outlets
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace info on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedule
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Helping determine pricing, discounts, promotions, and negotiations
  • Maintaining client records, advising clients on credit terms, products, prices, and availability
  • Monitor sales in the market to ensure targets and objectives are met
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts’ sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory
  • Must have to follow the company rules and also perform any other assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in sales and Marketing
  • 3-5 years of work experience in sales and marketing of fast-moving commodities targeting both distributors and retailers
  • Experience in distribution and delivery in retail chains, wholesale, and distributors is an added advantage
  • Passionate about sales with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate ability to achieve high-performance goals, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in new listings in tier1 HQs, tier2 and traditional market
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Should be a highly motivated and aggressive salesperson.
  • Should be presentable & well-kept at all times.
  • Thorough knowledge of the customer and market dynamics and requirements in region and environs
  • Debt collection skills
  • Should be skilled in prospecting
  • Must have a working smartphone
  • A valid driving license
