Position Title: Head of Technical Operations

Head – Technical Operations
Engagement: Full-time
Reporting to: Managing Director
Probation period: 3 months
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
- Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
- Project budgeting
- Provide support and advice on new potential business opportunities
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Required Skills / Experience
- 7+ years’ experience in an IT professional consulting services firm or related
- Experience in managing implementation of Tier 1/Tier 2 ERPs
- Excellent communications and problem-solving skills
- Experience in project management software e.g. MS projects
- PMP/PRINCE2/ITIL/Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable
- Experience in leading a team
- Knowledge of Enterprise Automation solutions e.g. ERPs, DBMS, Cloud, Infrastructure
- Business acumen
