Position Title: Company Driver / Messenger

In line with our growth strategy, we would like to fill the following vacancy:

Engagement: Full –time

Probation Period: 3 months

Primary Responsibilities

1. Facilitating movement of the Managing Director to/from desired work-related destinations such as client meetings, trainings/conferences etc

2. Ensure timely renewal of required documents e.g., Driving License, vehicle insurance, NTSA compliance etc.

3. Read, understand, and adhere to NTSA and county government requirements e.g., speeding, parking, loading etc.

4. Ensuring that vehicles are serviced and in good condition to perform duties satisfactorily by keeping tab of the service due dates and relaying the same to the supervisor in good time. This responsibility includes scheduling for and attending annual vehicle inspections.

5. Maintaining regular checks on all company vehicles and reporting malfunctions to the administration/management as soon as possible.

6. Advise the administration/management of any requirements for maintenance or repairs well in advance of scheduled trips.

7. Supervise and report on any repairs to be done to the company vehicles.

8. Run company errands such as dropping invoices to clients, picking, and delivering of contracts/LPOs and delivering such other company documents as requested.

Required Skills / Experience

1. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in driving as a personal or Executive Driver.

2. Must have a valid driving license for driving motorcycles, cars and light trucks.

3. Must have a certificate of good conduct.

4. Sufficient knowledge of traffic laws.

5. Basic understanding of mechanical aspects of vehicles.

6. Excellent in interpersonal relationships, communication, and negotiation skills.

7. Great attitude.

8. Have a good knowledge of the area and be able to navigate efficiently.

9. Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.

10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
