Position Title: Operations Office

Reporting to the Operations Manager*,* You will be part of and work closely together with members of the operations team and also work closely with other departments of the programme in Kenya.

Essential Functions

Procurement

  • Acquire and develop a clear understanding of the VVOB procurement processes and ensure compliance with both organization and donor procurement policies and procedures and procedures, including filing.
  • Facilitate procurement activities to meet program objectives in an efficient and effective manner by Sourcing, selecting, and negotiating for the best package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries, and after-sales services with vendors!
  • Prepare procurement plan and ensure delivery of goods and services as per the set-out timeline

Administration

  • Ensures that the office has sufficient office supplies.
  • Makes all necessary travel and lodging arrangements for visitors.
  • Facility management (cleaning, equipment repairs, utilities, green office considerations, etc)
  • Managing service contracts including vehicle rentals and tracking deadlines

Asset Management

  • Identify assets during the course of procurement and update asset register inventory and checks
  • Maintain inventories of VVOB Kenya premises and conduct regular checks (quarterly);
  • Advise the Operations Manager on any broken, damaged or destroyed equipment.

A competitive salary and benefits package. The monthly gross salary range for this position is KES 100,000 to 140,000 depending on the experience
