Our client, an international organization, is looking to hire Facility Management Specialists who will ensure building's services meet workers' needs by inspecting and repairing electrical, plumbing or janitorial problems.

The incumbent will be working closely with the Work Control Manager.

2 Positions

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as a resource for facility clients to plan, process and oversee maintenance, repair, modification and new work requirement of the facility.
  • Monitors facility maintenance programs and services efficiently by: assuring compliance with all certification, safety, fire prevention, and security program requirements; inspecting on a periodic basis maintenance activities and services such as plumbing, utility, water and sewage treatment, telephone, janitorial, and elevator service; inspecting contractors’ work for compliance with specifications or standards; determining, planning and estimating recurring maintenance and project requirements and presenting it to work induction; and assist facility clients in justifying budget requests.
  • Collects and ensures that correct facility data and information are entered into CMMS.
  • Ensures that proper recurring maintenance job plan and material requirements are entered in CMMS in accordance with ICAP and Asset Management standards.
  • Provides guidance and oversight for the repair and improvement of buildings, equipment and facilities.
  • Assists in preparation and submittal of progress reports on projects, inspections and acceptance of a completed work.

Required Academic Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • Must have bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture or other related engineering and scientific fields, based on a four-year course of study from an accredited university or college, with U.S. equivalence for non-U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have 2-years’ experience in facility planning, maintenance and repair operation.
  • Certification relating to NAVFAC Condition Based Maintenance Management and/or Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program is highly desired
  • Knowledge in Maximo Asset Management or similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is highly desired.
  • Knowledge in using Primavera P6, Microsoft Projects and similar planning systems is highly desired.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills which enable to effectively liaise with clients, other departments within the organization, subcontractors and clients, and report directly to the Senior Management.
  • Particular attention to details, good project management skills.
  • Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
  • Must be contract oriented and computer literate in Microsoft Office software.
  • Must have a valid and be able to obtain Non-Pro or Professional driver’s license with restriction code at least 2.
