Contract Details: Fixed Term One (1) Year Contract, subject to availability of funds and performance

Job Summary

Supporting the overall implementation of the school feeding programme including field monitoring activities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Programme Implementation

  • Participate in the design and review of the program implementation strategies to ensure that there is accountability and efficiency.
  • Support the process of selecting the school feeding beneficiaries.
  • Support the development and review of the relevant policies and procedures to guide the student’s sponsorship program.
  • Support in the organization of stakeholders’ meetings.
  • Collect and organize information related to the school feeding programme.

Reporting, Monitoring, and Evaluation

  • Participate in writing activity, incident, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to inform the progress of the implementation
  • Develop and maintain beneficiaries’ database and files.
  • Regularly check in with schools to ensure that implementation is on course.
  • Consistently provide updates on the available platforms concerning the implementation of the school feeding programme.

Stakeholder and community engagement

  • Support in the management and engagement of stakeholders at the government, school, and community levels.
  • Ensure all program participants are familiar with the school feeding programme program policies and procedures.
  • At any time, the policies and procedures undergo a significant change, ensure a meeting is held to discuss the changes with the program participants.
  • Work with and support the management to nurture strong relationships with schools, partners, relevant government offices, and donors as well as other key stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in various stakeholders’ related coordination meetings as required.

  • Promote meaningful community engagement and consultations
  • Promote child safeguarding and child protection principles at all times

Job Specification:

Education, Qualifications & Experience Required

  • University Diploma or Degree in an appropriate field.
  • At least two years of experience in a related field with progressively responsible experience in similar roles.
  • Must possess a valid motorcycle riding license.
  • Must be willing and able to ride a motorcycle as a way of accessing project sites.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
