IT Undergraduate Intern Career Opportunity in Nairobi, Kenya - International Potato Center

The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a highly talented, and energetic self-motivated student with the ability to resolve events, incidents, and support issues, who is a team player, and has the ability to escalate issues to other specialized teams and partners IT Undergraduate Intern.

The Position:

The IT Undergraduate intern will provide support to the Regional IT Specialist.

Key responsibilities:

  • Technical support to users and computers.
  • Technical support for conferences and meetings.
  • Africa and Asia Equipment and Services Inventory Update.
  • Enlisting staff in AD Self Service system.
  • Any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor.

Selection Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Information Technology, Information systems, Computer science or equivalent in a recognized University in Kenya.
  • Knowledge in Windows and Office 365 operating system support.
  • ITIL framework.
  • Support with Windows users and network infrastructure, Office 365 Services, web conferencing
  • Good command of English language and communication skills;
  • Good report writing skills;
  • Should have a flexible study schedule.
