Phirdos Kenya Limited is the Wholesale & Retail Franchise Owner for Clarks and Skechers shoe brands in
East Africa.

Our shoe brands are well positioned, with presence in the major malls of the country’s business hubs cities -Nairobi and Mombasa and continually offering pleasant and convenient services.

We seek to recruit high caliber, results oriented and self-driven individuals to fill the position of Digital Marketer Specialist to be based in Nairobi.

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Head of Retail operations, the Digital Specialist will be responsible for running an effective and efficient digital marketing campaigns leading to higher profitability and growth in line with the company’s strategy, higher customer engagement and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creating engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organization’s online brand.

2. Develop and manage the yearly marketing budget in liaison with the Head of Retail Operations.

3. Develop and implement the marketing communication plan.

4. Implementing strategies to drive traffic to the organization’s website, including SEO.

5. Creating and implementing a social media policy and framework for the organization

6. Moderating all social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

7. Manage promotional campaigns, press release, presentations, and events.

8. Responsible for the multi-brand management of the company through Public Relations (PR), Media, launches, promotions, and online initiatives.

9. Research advertising trends and competitors’ pricing and products

10. Evaluate new opportunities, demand for potential products, customer needs and insights.

11. Manage new product launches, promotions, pricing, packaging, advertising, market research and analysis of customer trends.

Qualifications and competencies

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business administration, or related field.

2. Must have a minimum of 4+ years of proven digital marketing experience in Retail.

3. Must have 5+ years of experience in digital advertising,), Google Ads, Google Analytics, mobile marketing digital campaigns, website optimization, email marketing,

4. Strong track record implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.

5. Experience using content management systems.

6. Knowledge of website analytics tools, for example Google Analytics

7. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite

8. Must be fluent in read, written and spoken English.

9. Must have strong communication, presentation and follow up skills.
