Position Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Our client is a Tech Company that specialises in the Design, Implementation and Maintenance of High-End Data Networks.

They seek to hire a BDM, responsible for business growth and for formulating sales and lead generation strategies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective BD & lead closing strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Increase market share in Kenya and beyond
  • Generate, qualify and close leads
  • Schedule sales appointments and activities
  • Promote products to new and existing customers
  • Develop and make presentations and demos of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Provide excellent customer service and salesmanship
  • Develop and maintain a customer database
  • Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value
  • Address client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction
  • Lead team to meet their performance goals

Person’s specifications

  • 3 years of experience in selling tech services or IT hardware products
  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quota
  • Ability to create and deliver client presentations
  • Expert in time management and personal organization
  • Highly motivated, determined, and target driven
