Position Title: Logistics Coordinator (Entry Level)

Role Summary: Phirdos Kenya Limited is the Wholesale & Retail Franchise Owner for Clarks and Skechers in East Africa.

We are looking for talented and skilled logistics personnel to join our fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
  • Carry out packing and warehousing, and storage duties in preparation for the specifics shipment.
  • Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.
  • Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
  • Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all goods ordered.
  • Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
  • Prepare accurate shipment and supply reports as advised from time to time by the Director of Logistics and corporate service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as logistics coordinator. At least 1.5 years of proven experience.
  • Experience working in the retail industry will also be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations i.e., IDF, KEBS etc. is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BSc/BA or Diploma in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
