Posirion Title: Business Development Manager (HR Services)

Location: Nairobi

Leading provider of HR management services for SMEs is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help them expand their clientele.

They will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

Job summary: To drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
  • Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g.Hubspot)
  • Time management and planning skills

Compensation: Base salary, bonus and travel allowance. Medical cover provided upon successful probation.
