Position Title: Nurse
Location: Maai – Mahiu
Position requirements: –
- Diploma in Nursing
- At least 2 years post registration experience.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid practising licence.
- Certificate in computer application skills
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning and implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient’s outcomes.
- Diagnosing common health conditions, prescribing and administering treatment.
- Assisting doctors in performing procedures
- Observing and recording patient vital signs
- Administering medication and dispensing meds
- Providing appropriate health care services, including immunisation, ante-natal care and emergency delivery.
- Ordering diagnostic tests.
- Collaborating with fellow members of the Nursing team
- Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
