POSITION TITLE: FINANCE MANAGER – FINANCIAL ADVISORY

Bellmac Consulting’s Business and Financial Advisory Services are modeled to offer strategic solutions to companies across a wide spectrum of Industries, Government and Non-Government Institutions, and to support them solve financial challenges or pursue opportunities.
FINANCE MANAGER – FINANCIAL ADVISORY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full responsibility for Financial Strategy and Planning with high focus on risk management, capitalization and investment strategy.
- Business Development opportunities through scenario planning and forecasting.
- Lead the Finance team in General Ledger management and accounting operations.
- Develop, implement and review internal control guidelines, policies and processes in line with laws and regulations.
- Develop decision support systems and reports to support board and management level decision making.
- Designing of effective internal controls, governance and compliance measures.
- Collaborate with internal, external audit and legal teams to provide internal assurance of proposed measures
- Recommend for hire and develop finance talent through training, mentorship and coaching.
- Support the Partners in managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Assist in advising client businesses on their tax liabilities and disclosures as well as responding to client queries on their tax issues/inquiries.
- Stay abreast of changes in corporate finance laws and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Commerce, Mathematics or a related field from a recognized university;
- A Master’s degree or post graduate degree is an added advantage;
- A recognized professional accounting qualification such as Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent;
- At least six (6) years working experience with at least of two (2) years at a senior level;
- At least three (3) years in a professional services Firm, client facing role is a must;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, Attention to detail;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and accounting software; and
- Strong writing and research skills.
