Kwale International Sugar Company Limited is looking for a result-oriented person to fill the position of a Drivers Trainer.
The ideal candidate should be able to instruct drivers in category B, C, D, and G on: Safety procedures, Preventive maintenance, Startup procedures and Defensive driving with basic mechanics.
Overall Job Purpose: To provide theoretical, applied and technical knowledge to diverse categories of drivers aimed at developing their driving abilities in terms of capacity, safety and technical understanding.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assessing the Trainees’ Knowledge, identifying skill gaps and preparing skill mapping.
- Prepare a Training plan with cost estimates.
- Deliver engaging and effective training which results in successful outcomes for the company
- Submit daily and weekly reports on training activities, trainee performance and utilization to management
- Maintaining documentation on Training
- Review Training content periodically and upgrade appropriately
Qualification
- Must possess a relevant Diploma.
- Must have gone through all relevant training and possess a Trainer’s certificate.
- A valid instructor’s License and a clean driving record.
- Proven track record in motor vehicle technical Training.
- Ability to deliver technical training in both field and classroom environments.
- Experience performing repair and strong demonstrated motor vehicle diagnosis and repair procedure knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver complex knowledge in a simple understandable manner to the trainees.
