Position Title: Travel Insurance Officer
Ref: TAS/HR/RK/ADV/3807/2022
Job Summary: This role involves the identification of new business opportunities for travel insurance; and
maintenance of all travel insurance operations under the guidance of the Underwriting Manager.
Essential functions
- Travel policy issuance and debiting.
- Monthly reporting on travel insurance sales targets.
- Providing all the back-office support to travel insurance marketing initiatives.
- Issuance of travel insurance quotations to direct clients and corporates, compiling necessary
reports and obtaining relevant information from reinsurance. - Using the web to collect client details and contact information.
- Administration of the monthly travel reinsurance report.
- Prompt clients serving
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and Competences
- Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field
- Insurance professional papers will be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in Travel business.
- Computer literate
