Job Summary: We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated marketing graduate trainee to join our growing marketing department.

If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in social media and content marketing, then we want to work with you.

Your work will include preparing promotional presentations, monitoring social platforms, and conducting market analysis.

In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms.

As a Graduate Marketing Trainee, you will be a strong, pro-active individual who will go the extra mile to help grow the marketing department.

Excellent copy writing, proofing and Microsoft Excel skills are necessary along with a good eye for design, a logical mind and the ability to be very personable with clients and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Drafting Scripts /Briefs for the brands
  • Drafting Radio Mention Compliance Reports
  • Monitoring Radio Station Mentions
  • Uploading winner stories (brand Website/ blog)
  • Updating brand draws and new campaigns to the ‘Presenters’ Whatsapp Group
  • Recording winner information during interviews/testimonial shoots
  • Assist in creation of marketing sms’s.
  • Compilation of weekly performance reports.
  • Preparing the back-to-back analysis reports for all stations.
  • Brainstorming on ideas to use for the campaign graphics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (A MUST) in any required field
  • Be able to operate in a fast moving environment and to manage time efficiently in order to meet deadlines
  • A commercial mind and determination to succeed.
  • A pro-active, positive and ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Maturity and versatility.
  • Problem solving, self-motivation and initiative.
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms.
  • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a passion for marketing.
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
