Vivo Activewear is a retail clothing business started in 2011.

In just over 10 years of operation, Vivo has blossomed into the “go-to” store for stylish yet comfortable, functional and affordable women’s clothing.

Vivo currently has 20 physical stores in Nairobi, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nakuru and Mombasa in Kenya and one store in Kigali Rwanda.

The brand is known for its bright, versatile, colourful and edgy styles. Vivo clothes appeal across the board, and in particular to anyone who enjoys style and is young at heart.

Job Purpose

We seek to hire a Brand Marketing Manager who will be responsible for Brand Customer Acquisition, Brand Love and Brand Community Engagement, ensuring that our marketing and advertising efforts align for success across these objectives.

The Brand Marketing Manager will also be responsible to monitor and enforce brand usage guidelines and apply project management practices in overseeing the execution of brand marketing programs within the department.

They will formulate and develop deliverables that support brand marketing programs/campaigns as well as the Vivo overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customised and other product offerings and campaigns including packages / bundles.
  • Conducting market research to determine customer preferences and buying habits in order to create effective marketing strategies
  • Develop marketing strategies for new brand offerings, as well as slow moving styles / collections.
  • Ensure the brand image is consistently and positively reflected through all marketing and branding content.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the brand’s customer base including through developing detailed customer profiles and mapping out brand customer journeys.
  • Develop, implement and monitor against strategic brand partnerships including with other brands, channels, venues, influencers.
  • Develop and implement loyalty customer reward & recognition strategies and initiatives related to the brand.
  • Develop and manage customer feedback initiatives including customer surveys, focus groups, rating services)
  • Grow the existing brand customer database.
  • Responsible for the generation of reports and presentations on the performance of brand marketing campaigns, to be used in the enhancement of campaigns and the formulation of new campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in Marketing, brand management or digital design.
  • Tech savvy.
