Position Title: Entrepreneurship Coordinator

Position summary: Entrepreneurship development program coordinator play important role in boosting the effectiveness of training at all levels. EDP coordinator will work closely with EDP facilitators at the centers and has role at each intervention of the project as well.

Roles and responsibilities:  Ensure that quality delivery of EDP is taking place at the centers as per the standard manual for level 1 to 3;  Assist project team in developing EDP action plans and monitor the progress on the same.  Develop alliances with organizations with similar interest to explore entrepreneurship opportunities for trainees;  Monitor and evaluate project progress against indicators specified for EDP section;  Develop portfolio of mentors for each county with assistance of EDP facilitators;  Identify needs of youth and develop mechanism of assistance on EDP aspects;  Develop database of financial funding organizations and ensure that partnership MOU is signed with a minimum of 20 partners in each county.  Customize and contextualize the learning needs at the centers  Conduct EDP effectiveness assessments and suggest changes based on short comings;  Provide learning support to agriculture demo farm on entrepreneurship development;  Design and develop tailor made EDP training programs to fit the context for project beneficiaries at Centers, Farmers, VTC partners and private sector.  Assist in digitizing EDP modules as and when required  Lead self-employment opportunity survey for each county.  Obtain information on various Govt. initiatives in relation to promoting entrepreneurship and educate EDP facilitators on the same.  Deliver TOT to staff on EDP component  Conduct high achiever entrepreneurs’ workshops and business clinics  Guide the youths through the compliance process  Take the entrepreneurs through business mentorship  Provide all trained people with toolkits  Provide entrepreneurs with market information packs from annual market assessments, Business value chain analysis and networks and linkages surveys  Monthly progress report on the tasks performed as per project timelines.  Develop social media posts and case studies for project visibilities

Minimum requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, including economics, agricultural economics, and finance.

  • Must be trained in the ILO SIYB program.

• Experience in business management, finance, or entrepreneurship program. • Experience working with youth on both urban and rural in livelihoods, both individual and group based income generating activities in coast region. • Experience in partnership development, training design, and delivery of training/capacity Building.
