Job Vacancy: Marketing Executive
1 Position
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager
Work Station: Nairobi
JOB PURPOSE: The Marketing Executive is responsible for the support of CFAO Agri Marketing activities aligned with the Sales Strategy.
The two main tasks are day-to-day:
- Planning and support to the implementation of the Marketing activities.
- Control, analysis and monitoring of the Marketing activities to ensure ROI.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
- Plan and monitor the marketing activities to be implemented monthly, weekly and daily, supported by a follow-up tool for sharing with the Sales and Marketing Manager.
- Compile and analyze the Sales Team Marketing Monthly Reports collected by the Sales and Marketing Manager.
- Collect, supply and keep record of Sales Team requirements for local marketing activities – field events, agri-expos, merchandising (signposts, shop banners, flyers, posters, etc), strategic sampling as well as local radio.
- Control the compliance of the implementation and follow-up of the marketing activities (sample delivery note, stock count of POS material, evidence of marketing events, etc).
- Lead and animate the Community Management of the company Facebook page (posts, answering the comments, etc).
- Monitor the Kenya and regional agri-business intelligence through daily newspaper coverage and sharing to the Sales and Management Team.
- Answer and keep record of the farmers’ enquiries by phone.
- Structure the customer database (Farmers, AGDs, AGVs, Clusters) for analysis and targeted marketing activities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
(Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any business related field. Additional qualification in Marketing is an added advantage.
- 2 years’ experience in related marketing role.
- Familiarity in digital marketing.
