Position Title: Logistics Coordinator

Core Objective

Support the Logistics and Corporate Services Director with all the logistics/supply chain administration work.

Key responsibilities

  1. Analyse & optimise logistical procedures in liaison with the logistics and corporate service director.
  2. Reviewing, preparing & routing purchase orders as advised by the Logistics and corporate service director.
  3. Recording & reporting of inventory from what is ordered and actual receipts into the warehouse.
  4. Carry out packing and warehousing , and storage duties in preparation for the specifics shipment.
  5. Ensure premises , asset and communication ways are used effectively.
  6. Responsible for tracking ,receiving , and stocking all shipment ordered.
  7. Keep logs and records of warehouse stocks , executed orders etc as advised by the logistics and corporate services director
  8. Prepare accurate shipment and supply reports as advised from time to tome by the logistics and the corporate services director.
  9. Answering customers queries
  10. Assist with all logistics admin works.

Qualifications and competent

  1. Proven experience as logistics coordinator. At least 2 years of proven experience.
  2. Experience working in Retail industry will be an added advantage.
  3. Knowledge of law and regulations i.e IDF , KEBS, etc is preferred.
  4. Ability to work with no or little supervision and track multiple processes.
  5. Must be computer literate
  6. Outstanding organisation and coordination skills
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. BSC/BA or Diploma in logistics and supply chain management or relevant field.
