Position Title: Logistics Coordinator
Phirdos Kenya Limited is the wholesale & Retail Franchise partner for Clarks and Skechers shoe brands in East Africa.Our shoes brand are well positioned , with presence in the major malls of the country's business hubs cities - Nairobi and Mombasa and continually offering pleasant and convenient services.We seek to recruit a high calibre, result oriented and self-driven individual to fill the position of Logistics Coordinator to assist our growing company . Core Objective
Support the Logistics and Corporate Services Director with all the logistics/supply chain administration work.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse & optimise logistical procedures in liaison with the logistics and corporate service director.
- Reviewing, preparing & routing purchase orders as advised by the Logistics and corporate service director.
- Recording & reporting of inventory from what is ordered and actual receipts into the warehouse.
- Carry out packing and warehousing , and storage duties in preparation for the specifics shipment.
- Ensure premises , asset and communication ways are used effectively.
- Responsible for tracking ,receiving , and stocking all shipment ordered.
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stocks , executed orders etc as advised by the logistics and corporate services director
- Prepare accurate shipment and supply reports as advised from time to tome by the logistics and the corporate services director.
- Answering customers queries
- Assist with all logistics admin works.
Qualifications and competent
- Proven experience as logistics coordinator. At least 2 years of proven experience.
- Experience working in Retail industry will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of law and regulations i.e IDF , KEBS, etc is preferred.
- Ability to work with no or little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Must be computer literate
- Outstanding organisation and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- BSC/BA or Diploma in logistics and supply chain management or relevant field.
