Position Title: Ophthalmology Nurse
Reporting to the Ophthalmic Cataract Surgeon, the holder of the position will glorify God by ensuring timely coordination of the process of attending to patients received at Outpatient/eye department; manage their treatment and provision of other services in support of attainment of the Hospital objectives.
Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes
- A Diploma in Nursing/Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN)/Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN
- Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
- Valid nursing practicing licence
- Minimum 3 months’ post-graduate training in ophthalmology
- Must demonstrate ability to execute work assigned with minimum supervision
- Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams
- Must demonstrate ability to multitask
- Should have ability to solve problems by applying relevant knowledge
- Must demonstrate professional expertise in the relevant work area
- Must have good communication and presentation skills
- Must have a mature and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and a love for people
- Should have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and equip others
- Must be aligned to the Mission and Vision of the AIC Kijabe Hospital
