Our client is a high end lodge located in Naivasha.

They seek to hire a Lodge Manager who will be in charge of the implementation of company strategy while ensuring optimal utilization of company resources to ensure business growth and profitability in line with business objectives.

Supervising day to day management of the Lodge – the Unit and its staff and planning, organizing and directing all unit hotels services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring there is business growth and profitability targets are achieved as planned in the unit
  • Overseeing overall business budgets including monitoring departmental budget and Targets
  • Increasing productivity by ensuring maximum utilization of resources
  • Ensuring growth in the business, by having a vibrant sales and marketing strategy and sales team in line with the group strategy.
  • Coordinating of the events and activities to ensure smooth operation of the unit
  • Ensuring unit’s image is maintained positively
  • Ensuring staff welfare and treatment is just and fair
  • Carrying out periodic inspection of the unit to ensure set standards are maintained
  • Developing, training, motivating and evaluating senior management staff to achieve highest levels of performance
  • Ensuring a safe and conducive working environment for all employees, clients and visitors
  • Identifying, implementing and benchmarking best practices in management.
  • Determining & coordinating Unit reporting and communication requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirement as well as good corporate governance practices.
  • Promoting a culture that reflects the organization’s values, encourages high performance, and rewards productivity.
  • Ensuring the security of Company assets and personnel.

Key Qualifications

  • Degree in hotel management / Business administration or relevant
  • At least 4-5 years in Senior Level Management as Hotel/ Unit Manager.
